Crew introduction part 1

Antti Nurminen at Seloy Live

Hello everybody,

my name is Antti Nurminen and I will start the series of SeloyLive crew introduction, which you can follow in our newsletters and social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn). There will be different kinds of presentations with pictures of our team members.

So, my nickname is Andy and I live in the countryside in Huittinen, Finland with my girlfriend. I’m originally from a small town called Parainen in the archipelago. My hobbies are hockey, music (I play guitar badly:) and nature (hiking, fishing and hunting). Before this position I have worked in B2B sales, also taking care of marketing and a webshop. Now alongside my job I study business economics in Satakunta University of Applied Sciences – hoping to graduate at the end of the year 2020.

So, I’m a newbie at SeloyLive with a lot of new things and stuff to learn, but I do enjoy working here very much. Helpful colleagues are like diamonds! My main responsibilities are promoting and sales of SeloyLive smart products. It gives me a boost to have innovative products like SENSE and SHINE to work with. I will occasionally also work with calculation, customer service and other stuff for our parent company Seloy. In the future I would also like to take more part in marketing.
I think my greatest strength is my attitude. I will get things done and if something goes wrong, I will fix it. My best traits are perseverance, accuracy and the will to learn.

The best thing about my job is versatility – no two days are the same. I can tell short summary of my week to show what I mean. On Monday we went to Helsinki with Jonne and Henkka to have a meeting and see our SENSE interactive glass in action in Oodi central library. Tuesday was full of offers and I was literally swimming in my mailbox. Wednesday was a product testing day in our facilities. Day’s agenda was to solve a couple of technical questions concerning Radiation Shielding glass. Thursday was a more traditional day; replying emails, taking a couple of calls and taking care of the everyday things. And now I am writing this story – so no boring days.

I eagerly look forward to seeing what the future brings. Hopefully a lot of satisfied customers, long customer relationships and new exciting products.
Well, this was the first part, waiting for the next one. If you have any questions or comments for me concerning our products or anything else, please feel free to ask!

Ps.

If I were a type of glass, I would be 8mm toughened smart glass – I could last hits and still be able to operate smartly and spectacularly #CrewIntroduction #JustSeloyLiveThings
